Remove local records

  1. Open a history record and use Delete, or select Clear history in Settings.
  2. Generated QR codes are managed separately. Remove unwanted codes from My QR codes.
  3. For all app data, open Android Settings → Apps → Scan Assistant → Storage and clear app storage, or uninstall. This also removes settings and local analytics state.
  4. CSV, text, PNG and copies shared to other apps are not removed with local history. Delete those files or copies where they are stored.

Analytics and advertising data

The current version has no in-app analytics switch; previously saved disabled choices are retained. Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes local records and analytics state, but does not automatically delete data already sent to Firebase. Clearing storage or reinstalling restores the default enabled analytics setting. Contact the developer below with data questions or requests.

Advertising privacy choices can be reviewed when that entry is available. Android also provides advertising-identifier controls. Deletion of data already processed by providers follows their policies and verification procedures.

Contact the developer

There is no account, and we do not store scan contents on a developer server. For a data inquiry, send the app name, request type, Android version and approximate date. Do not send QR contents or passwords. We can help identify the applicable data and scope without promising deletion of data that cannot be identified.
